The relationships developed between mean discharge and channel geometry parameters provide an alternative technique for estimation of mean annual channel discharge. In the present study, stream geometry parameters for 42 river sites in central-south India were used calibration equations were developed with data for 35 stations and tested on data for the remaining seven stations. It is appropriate for use where flow characteristics are poorly related to catchment area and other catchment characteristics. reveal that flood estimation through channel geometry is an alternative method for ungauged catchments. The gauged records are also of short length (generally 15–30 years), therefore development of robust models is necessary for estimation of streamflows. In India, as in most developing countries, the majority of river basins are either sparsely gauged or not gauged at all. Knowledge of peak discharge is essential for safe and economical planning and design of hydraulic structures. I’d very happy if something might be useful to the designers in other developing countries. The conclusion of this paper is to introduce the crystalized experiences from many and many actual flood design works in medium and small basins. This paper will introduce the method of design storm (including it’s spatial and temporal distribution) and the method of transformation of design storm into design flood hydrograph. China is a developing country, most of the gaging stations were established from fifties, but, part of the raingage stations were established in early thirties, this is the reason why we like to use the design storm and then to transformed it into design flood. Therefore, as a reference these experiences may be useful in. In China, the dam break is rarely due to the deviation error of design flood. Most of these dams are earth dam, so that it is not permissible the water to flow over the dam. This paper is based on the experiences accumulated from the actual design flood of more than eighty thousand reservoirs on main channel of medium and small basins. This paper deals with the realization o environment and which benefits may arise from the already existing normal lcd available in the common households. INTRODUCTION Smart TV that try to facilitate the life of the user in many different ways and make it more comfortable by using technology. Keywords-IOT (internet of things) product, low cost, Linux, innovative applications. The project falls in the category of IOT things, which the trend of the gadgets in the near future and embedded system.Consider the present scenario most of the developing countries markets are flooded with television set with inbuilt smart feature but are of high prices, why pay high when a better product can be used to convert your existing set. The idea is to convert any kind of screen which can be used to display digital data with an interface which gives the user advanced features and applications. Ever thought of making your boring old TV/LCD/Screen to an interface where it can access WEB 2.0 features, advance control of the screen and innovative new feature.
